Thriller

292 pages

I love Freida's thriller books and this one didn't disappoint. They always keep me guessing. This one started where I thought I had it all figured out and who's who. Only for everthing to be flipped completely around by the end of the book. A total Freida Flip!

It starts with Casey in a broken down cabin out in the middle of nowhere. Only to, of cours have a predictable storm coming. As the storm comes, she notices a light on in hier she and realized it was a young girl. But this young girl ends up being nothing but trouble. Even though Case does nothing but tries to help her. Through the stormy night, Casey is held hostage by this troubled teen and we learn more about Casey's troubling past and where this girl comes from. As this storm and their stories cause a twist at then end I never saw coming.

Theo of Golden

I absolutely loved this book. If every I could fall in love with an old man it would be Theo. I loved how the book was written and we not only learned about the people of Golden, but also about Theo throughout the book.

This was a TOP 10 BOOK for me!!!

Beautiful Ugly

Alice Feeney

4 stars
Adio

Thriller

320 pages

The Beautiful Ugly was another good thriller with lots of twist. It starts with a painted perfect marriage with an author who's wife goes missing mysteriously. He struggles to move on and his life is pretty much a disaster. His agent sends him to a remote island to hopefully motivate him to write. Only for this island to uncover a lot of secrets.

This book definately had my attention toward the end. It was a bit of a slow start for me though. Kind of interesting with the all female island concept, but a bit far fetched at times.
